For whatever it's worth, here is how I resolved the issue:
- Using the free Revo Uninstaller, I completely uninstalled e-Sword from my Windows 10 PC. Revo Uninstaller download: https://www.revounin...-free-download/
- Using Revo, I carefully proceeded to remove every remaining traces of e-Sword that were left behind after the standard uninstall. Disclaimer: If you are not comfortable doing this, you may end up causing other issues, so proceed with caution. Revo is intuitive and straight forward enough for the average user, but it may be too aggressive for some.
- Make sure to restart the PC after having uninstalled the program.
- Do a completely clean re-install and it should work.
- You will need to re-install all of your proprietary modules, so make sure to have a backup folder to re-populate your catalog.
