According to the App Store on MacOS, e-Sword X does not collect any personal information, as seen in the screenshot below. At least, this is what Rick Meyers has told Apple.

Now, while I know that this applies only to the Mac version of e-Sword, it might be reasonable to assume that the Windows version doesn't collect any personal data either. However, we'll know for sure if and when Rick Meyers gives an email reply to solmnjms1.

In Topic: HOW TO: Modules not available in iPhone version

I would also add, in addition to the instructions that JPG has given you above, that if you have a Mac, a very easy way to transfer your e-Sword resources from your Mac to your iPhone is to Airdrop them from your Mac to your iPhone. When you do this, and you choose to open the files in e-Sword LT on your iPhone, the resources will automatically be added to e-Sword and will show up right away, even if e-Sword is already open on your iPhone—in other words, no restart of e-Sword required.

So, if you have a Mac (which you do) and you know how to Airdrop, this is the easiest way to get e-Sword resources on your iPhone.

It appears that the Holy Name Bible on this website is only the Windows version of e-Sword module (.bblx). You would have to convert it to Apple Module format (.bbli) in order to use it on your iPad.

In Topic: How do I Import a JNLX file in esword? My computer crashed but I had my JNLX...

There shouldn't be anything you have to import. If you place your e-Sword user files in C:\Users\[username]\Documents\e-Sword they should just automatically show up the next time you restart e-Sword. Are you sure that you are putting the files in the right place?

You don't have to copy anything out of the Program Files folder if you have reinstalled e-Sword or installed e-Sword on your new computer. All you have to worry about is the files in the folder I mentioned above.

2KB might be a pretty small file. If you think that you should have a lot of journal notes then maybe something bad has happened to the file.

Your JLNX file should be placed in the e-Sword folder in your Documents folder. It is not to be placed in the e-Sword folder in Program Files. This is true also for your bookmarks, study notes, etc.
