Rick said that the PC version could be made to produce html, but at the time of making e-Sword only rtf was available with all the nice formatting features. Sounds like in the future there could be a change there.

I shot Rick an email, requesting a feature update to the conversion utility. One that would do noti->notx.

I also requested notx->cmti as an additional option in order to bring PC notes as commentaries to mobile.

Both can be done in ToolTip Tool, but a quick conversion would be nice.

Perhaps he will smile favorably upon us and add these features while we await.

What version of e-Sword PC are you using

You do not need to convert the note files for PC use!

Starting with version 11 of e-Sword for Windows the program and read both Windows format modules and Android/Apple/Mac. The only thing that needs to be done is renaming the file so the file name does not conflict with existing note files

You know, I tried that. And E-Sword PC didn't recognize the noti file.

I tried several different ways, and the only thing I could find that works is:

1. Do a backup user files in e-Sword Android.

2. Transfer the study.noti file e-Sword just created to your PC

3. Read the file into e-Sword ToolTip Tool

4. Save it under the name you want in your user files folder as a notx file, with the unique name you want.

Side note: I found that any text on the same line after the verse reference in the ToolTip Tool (ie. ÷Rom 8:28) will not display in e-Sword after the conversion. That text will have to be moved to a new line.

I wonder what Rick and Phil (eStudySource) use?
