Posted by Jogirl on 12 October 2018 - 12:10 PM

It was great news to see an update for the iPad app that included the Ancient Hebrew Lexicon of the Bible, along with a Compare lexicons feature! Bible study keeps getting better with many thanks to Rick Meyers!!

#32020 E--sword HD note file

Posted by Jogirl on 11 December 2017 - 02:51 PM

I know that the resources in e-sword iPad app are not backed up in iCloud. So, when moving to a new iPad, I know that I have to reload those and I use a combination of iExpand drive and Google drive to move them onto the iPad. I am not a big fan of iTunes file sharing but yes, I could go that route. The main issue is my note file. I am pretty sure that I have to use iTunes file sharing to copy my notes and move them onto the iPad. And I do not know of any other options.  Anyone have another way?

#31678 Everett Study Notes ios version

Posted by Jogirl on 21 October 2017 - 03:21 PM

Question:  why is the download for the study notes referenced as a .cmti file:

http://www.biblesupp...s-apple-osxios/

When I select "download", the file to be downloaded is a .refi file???? Not .cmti or have I made an error?

Thanks!

#31221 Keil & Delitzsch display issue on e-sword hd

Posted by Jogirl on 14 August 2017 - 05:44 AM

I just noticed the following display in K & D while reading commentary on Is. 55.  Either it has always looked like this and I am slow to notice it or it is a new issue.  Can anyone comment?  I am running the latest update of e-sword hd.IMG_1547.PNG IMG_1547.PNG

#31083 Creating E-Sword HD (iPad/iPhone) Bible Modules from your PC

Another way to get the resource on your ipad is to email it to yourself as an attachment.  When you open your email and select the attachment, it should give you the option of opening  it in e-sword hd.  This only work with smaller resource files, given your internet provider and limits on files sizes for attachments, usually around 25 meg.

Just a tad of a correction here. The GNT+ and GNT-TR+ do not contain the RMAC code. Only the GNT-BYZ+ text does. With that said, I quite a agree with the rest of what you said.

Blessings,

I am scratching my head here since my screenshot looks to me like I am using the Greek New Testament TR+ with the RMAC.  ???image.jpg

#27461 How to read/convert a .top file in e-sword latest version

Posted by Jogirl on 09 April 2016 - 08:32 AM

There is a .top file that I want to read in e-sword.  I downloaded it and installed it.  It doesn't show up in the reference browser.   There must be a way to do this--I just don't know how.  Please let me know how.  Thanks!

#26067 New International Commentary on the New Testament

Posted by Jogirl on 27 September 2015 - 12:32 PM

The latest from estudysource and may I say they are really responsive:

"Both of these issues only pertain to the Windows module.  The Apple module is fine.

In regards to the tooltip references, those have been fixed and a new module has been uploaded, which you are welcome to download at no additional cost.

The Hebrew characters are an issue. The Unicode characters for Hebrew that have combining diacritics do not have an RTF equivalent in the Windows fonts. The text development manager is working on a solution, but since there are really so few of these in the NICNT we felt it was better to release it now rather than wait a couple of months. When this issue is addressed, the updated module will be made available."

#26042 New International Commentary on the New Testament

I just noticed that estudysource is offering a new commentary and it sounds too good to be true:
http://estudysource.....aspx?pid=C0024
What surprises me is the low price.   Then, I wondered if it some kind of an abridged version.  Any comments? I did email estudysource to ask, BTW.

From estudysource: "These are the texts for the 18 vols. as supplied by the publisher. They are not abridged."

As Dartmaster and Josh both said, this is a good set at a good price.  An offer I cannot afford to pass up!

Received this from estudysource:

Thank you so much for taking the time to let us know about this. The text development manager will carefully look into it and make any necessary changes in future editions. If an updated edition is released, it will be available to you for downloading at no additional cost using the links in your online account or system receipt. We sincerely appreciate your attention to this matter!
