Hi all. I'd love if someone could offer the very first version of the Douay-Rheims Bible (that of 1582 for the NT and 1609 for the OT), the versions coming later being very different from the original one. Thank you!

Here is a request: I believe it would be useful to have a dictionary of greek and hebrew synonyms as that would permit more insight into the text: for example, to click on "metanoeo" would give "epistrepho", which is a synonym; then, using a lexicon, we would see that the former refers to an inner conversion, while the latter, to a more exterior one (to do what we should, but without too much conviction or a deep conversion of heart). So if the text we read displays the former but not the latter, we will know it talks not just of a conversion but of a deep conversion unlike a more formal exterior one.

thank you so much for the reduction. I've found two files elsewhere, BHS+ (Biblia hebraica stuttgartensia) and the KJVA, much shorter: the former, 22MB instead of 41 and the latter, 6MB instead of 14. I'm attaching them to this post, if you are interested in. (I don't know how to upload files in mediafire, sorry). On the other hand, I would like to ask you if you are so kind, to shorten just two Bibles, one called HSB.zip here in biblesupport (once unzipped it measures 86MB!) and the other, a Spanish Bible I could send you by email (if it's ok with you, you can just let me know to os7o@hotmail.es ).

Thank you so much Vaughn. Sure, take all the time you need. (By the way, the file I mentioned by the name of iwh+_97 was not that, but LXX+WH+-97.bblx.exe, sorry for the mistake -3,14 MB but when unzipped, some 70MB!-).
