I am trying to install a commentary - John Gill's. I can select it in the downloader but it makes no progress downloading it. Can I get advice on this here?

I am running Windows 10 64-bit with E-Sword 11.2.2

In the download window click download on the menu to open the download menu and then click start

Go to your Download folder in Windows File Explorer, and (double) click on the installer file you downloaded.

I have gone to the downloading screen and double clicked the module (Bible Illustrations) but it is listed in red and will not respond in any way.  I downloaded another module and it worked fine.

You need to have the newest version of e-Sword installed which is version 12 in order for the downloads to download

I have downloaded 12.1 and it didn't change a thing.  still listed in red print and does NOTHING when I double click on it.  I have downloaded many modules before with no problem. this one just doesn't work.

I have downloaded e-sword 12.1.0 and it didn't  help.  I thought 12.1 was supposed to take care of the AMG downloads.  I disabled my virus program - no difference. don't know what to try next.

Are any other downloads in red?

 

Please verify your e-Sword version from the Help -> About menu

 

A screen shot of the downloads window might also help track the problem.

It's resolved.   I downloaded the new (12.1) version but when i installed it, i didn't shut down E-sword so nothing changed.  that was the purpose of the change- so it would allow AMG downloads.  When something is listed in red-tht means it's a version problem.  I always have to learn everything the hard way.  Thanks for the help!
