e-Sword cross reference links are not active under linux wine

What wine configuration is needed to activate these links

I am guessing the problem is in wine configuration

Apparently e-sword programing has different requirements than theWord software as it works perfectly.

Thanks for any help

I wanted to get e-sword running in Linux as well, but have had no luck with Wine at all. Still pretty new at the Linux thing, but I gave up for now and just went with a dual-boot system setup - Linux & Win 7. Good luck :)

Not sure I understand your question.  Linux and e-sword newbie.

If I'm in the bible window and select the verse with TSK cross references I have to select the verse then it jumps right to it.  It won't synchronize the comments with the active verse.  Might be user error but it does work when I select the verse.

Hope that helps,

-Stephen

mfc42.dll , msls31 , msxml3 , msxml6 ,

vb6run , vcrun6 , wsh57 , corefonts

............................

I've installed e-Sword on both 32 and 64 bit Linux; works fine with links.

You need the above installed in wine using winetricks.

,,,,,

I use PlayOnLinux to install windows programs, which makes handling bottles, dlls, and registry easier; also to delete entire bottle and restart fresh.

Ok, will look into that,I think I have winetricks already installed.  Either way it works good but I see your point about the playonlinux and install/removal etc.
