I've been an e-Sword user for many years, but since a previous update wiped out all my notes, and previous established library, I have been reluctant to update again.

Is this a continuing issue with updating to newer versions?

Currently I am running e-Sword 11.0.5...and have many saved notes and bibles, ..the whole gammut.  I'd hate to lose what I have and have to start over.

Plus, I'd like to get the Concordant Literal Translation bible.  Is it available in the new version of e-Sword?

Make backup copies of everything modules and notes and than reinstall them in the new version of E-Sword when you or if you update it. The new versions of e-Sword still run the older format modules

Thanks for the tip Tj Higgins.  Now to figure out how to do just that.

Is the newer version worth going through all the work?

To back everything up just copy and paste all of your modules and note to a flash drive.

If you are already running e-Sword 11.05 there won't be much difference with the latest update which is 11.2

I'd like to get the Concordant Literal Translation bible. Is it available in the new version of e-Sword?

Concordant Literal Version with footnotes for e-Swords supplied by Bible Support. The modules for e-Sword were submitted by gngon Aug 21, 2022, and have been updated Sep 28, 2022. Two download modules are supplied. [1] CLVX.zip 2.49 MB [2] concordant reference.refi 1.04 MB

The CLVX.zip file contains a zipped folder, containing CLVX.bbli last modified, 2022-09-27. After uncompressing the file, arrange to move it to your e-Sword Resource Location folder. This provides the Bible tab "CLVX", for the Concordant Literal Version, © 2015 Concordant Publishing Concern, https://www.concordant.org This contains both the Concordant OT and the Concordant NT. For the abbreviation key refer to the Concordant Literal Version Abbreviation Key.

The concordant reference.refi file is to be moved to your e-Sword Resource Location folder. This is the "Concordant Literal Version Abbreviation Key", viewed in the Reference Library option. This correlates with The Concordant Literal New Testament and the Concordant Version of the Old Testament e-Version 2.x © 2014 by the Concordant Publishing Concern.

These modules will work for the following five current versions of e-Sword, as listed here http://www.biblesupp...ons-of-e-sword/

This publication may be reproduced for personal use. All other rights are reserved by the copyright holder, CONCORDANT PUBLISHING CONCERN, with the website at https://www.concordant.org They provide the book for personal download in PDF format, and there is an option to purchase a printed edition.
