While trying to make a dictionary, many strong's number refer to the same definition.

What i want to do is when ÷H10003 appears, it forwards automatically into a separate definition. What is the correct way to do it?

I would like to automate the this by pasting into the document for each entry (likely with a find/replace command) so the actual text that needs to be in the document is appreciated.

Thanks

I'm not a dictionary maker but no Strong's number has more than 4 digits so it is rather ÷H1003

Thanks for the response.  currently trying a different way but open to getting this to work.

Unfortunately, I have to link/anchor another matrix and H strongs numbers go very high so its hard to add more without an extra digit. open to this strategy however if it works best.

By the H strong's numbers are the H8675 until H9999 free to fill a dictionary.

Niobi aka Patchworkid's Study Bible Dictionary (Teachings) linked with his commentary used an extra digit in his Dictionary.

But I don't recommend the method because it is possible that an update of e-Sword shall limit digits to 4 in the dictionaries for optimization reasons.

Wonder if the program only recognizes numbers? If it would recognize letters, that could keep number of digits down. I haven't tried that yet...someone who knows would save me from having to try it. I have mostly moved away from using strongs numbering due to its limiting factor.
