Hi All,

Can somebody tell me if Biblesupport has Greek data set as Logos or Bible works had? I am looking for a Greek data set which would help me interpret a verse properly. I meant it should tell me if a verb is objective genitive or subjective genitive or participle of so and so. It should tell me grammatical construction. Logos and Accordance has good Greek data set but that is too expensive for a poor international seminary student.

I have downloaded Greek dictionaries and other similar items but those don't have Greek dataset.

Any help would be appreciated!

Regards in Christ,

Melwin Issac.

There are modules with morphology as "Robinson's Morphological Analysis Codes" and dictionaries that explain those codes by clicking on it. (The LOGOS morphology codes are based on it).
And Eliran Wong use an emproved version of "Robinson's Morphological Analysis Codes".
The Berean Bible used it own morphology codes.

Dictionaries that support Robinson's Morphological Analysis Codes":
The standard that you can download with the e-Sword program or the version of Eliran Wong (RMAC)
Modern Literal Version Concordance, Dictionary & Lexicon 2017 (MLVDC+G)

My "Restored Textus Receptus" module (RTR+M) and the TRi and TRa based on a reprint of the TR 1550 supporting Robinson's Morphological Analysis Codes.

For Hebrew is there the ETCBC commentary made by Eliran Wong.

"Robinson's Morphological Analysis Codes" are based on REAL info of the "verbs" that lacks any genitive case.

(nouns or pronouns or adjectives or articles have a case unlike the verbs).

i] Subjective genitive (Active genitive)

Where the genitive substantive produces the action implied by the verbal noun

Often this genitive can be classified as adjectival, possessive.

apekdidtamenoi ton plaion anqrwpon sun taiV praxesin autou

you have put off the old self with ITS practices / the practices OF IT

Possessive: you have put off the old self with the practices THAT CHARACTERIZED IT

Subjective: you have put off the old self with the practices THAT EXPRESSED IT

ii] Objective genitive

Where the genitive substantive receives the action implied by the verbal noun

Usually expressed by about / for / concerning / toward placed before the genitive

the report OF HIM

the report CONCERNING / ABOUT HIM

hJ akoh autou

Consider attributed or source/origin instead

because of the fear OF THE JEWS (stemming from the activities of the Jews)
