RegEx reminds me of those old DOS days: squiglies, slashes, arguments, operators...heavens, half the time you didn't know if you were coding or swearing!

For an "old" coder it should be second nature to play with these RegEx tools.

 

Must admit though I really don't miss DOS that much. To many headaches.

That sorta looks more like those Autoexec.bat files and System.sys files from the days of DOS that one had to create in order to get some of the hardware to work, like Sound, Modem, and to load certain drivers and etc.

 

Now people want to use RegEx just to try to find the proverbial kitchen sink. Gotta be crazy and masochistic to go through that kind of punishment.
