File Name: ComparaBiblias (Bible Compare)
File Submitter: ebulerdo
File Submitted: 17 Sep 2011
File Updated: 24 May 2012
File Category: e-Sword Utilities
Author: International Spanish e-Sword Team
Suggest New Tag:: bible compare tool

This simple tool will compare two Bible modules and report the differences: missing, additional, duplicated, blank verses. It's works much better than the old BibleCompare tool.

You can choose what book range to compare. It can also compare verse content (useful to compare two versions of the same Bible, or an original and a revision) and report differences above a given percentage. E-Sword 8 password-protected modules are supported (provided you know the password).

It supports both e-Sword 8 .bbl and e-Sword 9/10 .bblx. The program interface is in English, to switch it to Spanish just delete or rename the accompanying ComparaBiblias.ini file.

UPDATE: Included SQLITE3.DLL that was missing.

Here is a method to download the Bible Compare Tool utility, if Windows Security blocks the processing of the .exe file.

This download ComparaBiblias_v1009.zip 1.02 MB contains three files in a zipped container:
This contains three contents:
[1] ComparaBiblias.exe = application;
[2] ComparaBiblias.ini = configuration settings;
[3] sqlite3.dll = application extension. There is no password required to run this file.

See attached file How-to-download-BIBLE-COMPARE-TOOL.pdf
