I had to reinstall everything in my computer, including e sword of course. Now the highlighted dont coincide with the verse it is suppose to highlight. Has somebody any idea about it? thank you for any help, and blessing.

Do you have pericopes turned on?  If so, try turning them off and recheck your highlights.  This will be found under Options+Display Bible Pericope - uncheck it.

Below is a video tip when it comes to highlighting and and using the pericope in e-Sword. As to whether or not this also applies to e-Sword X for mac, and/or e-Sword HD, I don't know considering I don't use any of these machines.

So, that said, watch the video, and I'm certain that it will save your proverbial bacon.

Blessings,

Stephen (Php 1:21).

Unfortunately, since I didn't understand how the Periscope function affected highlighting, I re-worked a significant number of highlights.  Then, after coming across this article and turning Periscope off, I have a problem that all of the highlights I "fixed" are now wrong.  It feels like highlights should be tied to something in the verse in a way that is static and not affected by outside settings.

Feedback is better sent to the developer. https://www.e-sword.net/feedback.html

Note. It is pericope not periscope

Oh. that's what happened;  I did not make the connection between Pericope and highlight, I thought changing to different Bible Tabs  caused the misalignment.

Watch the video, and you will see what happens and what the "fix" is.
