Is there a way to convert cmtx file to topx or to load commentaries down in book form.

As an example, the John Peter Lange commentary shows 25 volumes when looking it up.  I would like it in book/volume form as well as in commentary form.  Preferrably .topx or .refx form but if not, in straight book form.

I know I can look at a commentary by bible chapter or book but would like the book form as well.  That way I could scan the whole volume on words, subjects, etc.

Thanking you in Christ.

You will need to use e-Sword Tooltip which is the module creation tool for e-Sword modules. It should be fairly easy to convert a commentary into a reference book or topic file.

Hey Tj.  Loaded down tooltips & documentation and reading and playing.  I see how it can happen.

Thanks a lot for your help.

Well Tj, sad news.  TT will allow loading cmtx files but it seems that most (if not all) of the commentaries are "licensed" and TT will not, cannot, load a licensed file.

So while you can load a commentary down, you can't if it is licensed.

So I guess that leaves me back at my original question with the answer of  "no".

But I do appreciate your help.  I like TT, although lacking in some things, quite accomodating in others.  Nice to be able to make your own e-sword modules.

Thanks again.
