I know that the resources in e-sword iPad app are not backed up in iCloud. So, when moving to a new iPad, I know that I have to reload those and I use a combination of iExpand drive and Google drive to move them onto the iPad. I am not a big fan of iTunes file sharing but yes, I could go that route. The main issue is my note file. I am pretty sure that I have to use iTunes file sharing to copy my notes and move them onto the iPad. And I do not know of any other options. Anyone have another way?

Hi Mike,
Thanks for sharing. I think Air Drop would work if I could actually select the note file but it is hidden, so to speak. What little I know tells me the files in e-sword are not meant to copy and send from the iPad but, the files can be sent to the iPad.I can only see it and copy it when I use iTunes and file sharing. Actually, a good practice is to regularly make a backup of my note file in the event something major goes wrong with my device. Losing all my notes would be quite a loss.

Turn Bluetooth on for both devices and have them within a few feet of each other. On the iPad with your notes go to resources tab within e-Sword HD. Scroll to bottom of page. You should see “note” or “study” with a Air Drop button beside it. Tap that button and you should then see the other device. Tap button for that shown device. It should then send file to second device. E-Sword should then open on second device with new notes there. You will need E-Sword on both devices. You can also transfer to an iPhone.
