I'd like to also know, is it possible to change the color of the Bible font itself, on windows 10 desktop ?

options font color, only has options to change the background of the bible window, and tool tip background color, but not the font itself .

Which version of e-Sword are you using as there were changes made to the color options with the launch of e-Sword-11?

That would be e-Sword version 11 which as I said had changes made to the color options so you cannot change font colors if you can revert back to e-Sword version 10 you will have the font color options again

As to turning it off, you can't. The pop up tooltips is a default setting, and coded into the program.

No you can't.

About the only thing you can do with the font color is to select whether or not you want to have Red Letter in the NT for the words of Jesus.

OK, that said, it is possible to change the color of the font to what ever color you want it, but not in e-Sword. To change the color is simply editing the code in a third party program such as T4 or SQLite Database Manager or SQLite Browser. Now with that said, you will need to have some either knowledge of HTML and/or RTF code. However, doing it this way, once done you can't revert it to Black and White within e-Sword.

Hope this helps.

Blessings,

One way to do this is to copy the text into a word processor, select the text that has the popup link, put the cursor inside the selected text area and right click. This will open a text combo box, in it you should see an option to remove the hyperlinks, select it and the links are removed. Then just copy it back to the Esword text window.

If you save a good copy that has the hyperlinks then you can always replace the file if you decide that you want the hyperlinks back.

Hope this is what you are looking for.

FYI, Silverhair's signature quote is from Charles Spurgeon (1834-1892). Great statement!
