Hello, it's me again. fixed it by using resources options to remove weba

Ok, I have downloaded I think just about every English version available.

The problem is now I have two WEB bibles and I wish to remove the WEBA because I do not need another World English Bible but with the Apocrypha, normally I just go right into the e-sword directory and either ctrl+d or ctrl+x the file I want to remove. in the bible tabs, they are listed as WEB and WEBA mousing over them says world English bible and world English bible /w Apocrypha.

The funny thing is when I look in the program files x86\e-sword directory I see WE webster, WEL, wiki, William, WNT, and WOY.

they are not listed under THE world English bible either.

they are simply nowhere to be found, yet they are in the bible tabs and fully functioning.

The only thing different is that I used the downloader within E-sword to install these bibles.

any help would be awesome thanks.

The file is hidden in the VirtualStore

C:\Users\Your  Name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword

Normaly can you remove WEBA in options/resource.

I looked for C:\Users\Your  Name\AppData\Local\VirtualStore\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword

But my Users\Administrator

Users\DKH

Users\Public

Those are the only three directories in C:\Users

There is a hidden directory C:\Users\default\appdata\local\microsoft\

C:\Users\default\appdata\local\temp\

but neither of these contain VirtualStore

Well, it looks like I am going to have to do an uninstall of E-sword to get rid of those bibles downloaded by using the built-in downloader.

The main thing I am using right now is the compare mode, and guess what? the bibles removed using the resource function still show up in the compare mode.

why on Earth would the built-in downloader (Rick) put bibles anywhere other than where they normally go in the E-sword folder?

The uninstall left the e-sword folder intact and did not remove the bibles I downloaded using the e-sword downloader.

Well, I found the directory I needed and moved it then copied out of it what I wanted into the E-sword main directory since using the resource manager only hid the Bibles from the tabs but did not hide them in the compare mode.

actually moving files in and out of E-sword is the best way to go for me.
