Is there anywhere available a blank commentary file (cmtx) that has all the verses referenced but each verse is empty.

Something like :

 

#define description=DESC

#define abbreviation=ABBR

#define comments=CMTS

#define version=3

÷Gen 1:1

÷Gen 1:2

÷Gen 1:3

......

÷Rev 22:20

÷Rev 22:21

 

(or how can I generate such file?)

You can create that type of file using E-sword Tooltip NT

Try this:

1)  Press Ctrl+Alt+Shift+A    this opens the T4 "Calculator" window

2) type into the "Calculator" the following and press Enter:   EmptyList2  

 

Tada.
