I downloaded my sword to my computer and when I tried to load it into my Samsung Tablet the following message came up on the screen,

"This program will damage this device"

I have already downloaded my sword on my Samsung tablet and it work just fine, however is was stolen, why would I receive this message on a different Tablet?

Thanks for your time.

You might ask the mysword folks if you don't get a response here.  Was your old tablet the same model as the new one and same version of Android?  If so I would not worry about it.  Unless, you run some sort of malware or antivirus software that is sensing something.  You might try to download it from the mysword site.

I have a samsung with s pen and received no such message and it works fine.  (Galaxy Tab A)

Likewise. I have a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro (12.2" screen), and just works fine. Also have MySword on my Samsung Galaxy S5, and works fine on that as well.

Because you downloaded it on to your PC, and then moved it onto your Tablet, is the reason for you getting that warning. Had you used the Play Store all on your Tablet to download MySword, you would not have got that warning.

You see, Android regards apps as safe when downloaded and installed when the Google Play Store is used. Any other way one installs that same app, Android regards it as unsafe.

With that all said, there is a fix. In the Security settings on your device, click the Unknown sources checkbox, and that will "Allow installation of applications from both trusted and unknown sources," and you should be able to install apps you moved from your PC to your device without any hassles.

Trust this proves helpful to you.

Blessings,

Blessings,

I also have a Samsung Galaxy Note Pro 12.2 w/Sim card and have been using MySword for years w/different tablets I have the Deluxe version and never had any damage occur by using it. This is an invaluable tool for ministers as well as the man or woman in the pews.
