The new Christian Standard Bible or CSB which is an update of the Holman Christian Standard Bible or HCSB, can now be read on BibleGateway.com

 

I have compared a just a few chapters of the CSB with the same chapters in the HSCB and there are some textual differences between the two. There are also differences in the footnotes for some chapters as well.

I wouldn't have any objection to Yahweh for the OT but for the NT it is all Lord. I think following the Septuagint and Greek manuscripts example of using kurios is consistent and acceptable.

I would never argue for Yahweh in the NT.  Certainly Lord for the NT.  I do wish the Hebrew would trump the LXX in the OT, even if they would decide to go no further than the Tetragrammaton lest they get into the "Jehovah problem" of the ASV.

Part of the reason for using LXX for the NT OT quotes lies in the idea that the Apostles and (at least the Gentile believers) used the LXX instead of the Hebrew for their daily use.  Many of the OT quotes in the NT are much closer to the LXX than the Hebrew. 

 

Personally, I prefer the Hebrew, though that doesn't stop me from making forays into Brenton's English Septuagint and even the occasional venture into James Murdock New Testament  (A translation of the Peshito Syriac New Testament into English by James Murdock.) for a look at a very early translation of the NT.
