On this website and in other places I have sometimes notices Scripture references listed as such: Matthew 5:21 1 John 3:15, &c.

What does this "&c." mean?
Someone also pointed it out to me in the KJV Ryrie Study Bible. For example, in Romans 9:13 over in the references it lists Ex. 20:13, &c.; Deut. 5:17, &c.; Matt. 19:18
Can someone describe to me the reason for "&c."? I appreciate any information!
