Hi,

I´m a theology student from germany, also I´m working as youth leader in a free evangelical church.

I knew since some years the programm "e-sword" but I was or I am a bit confused which resources I should pick.

Something like the Must-Have modules.

Thank you for your help

it all depends on what you want in your e-sword. Do you what bibles or word studies or commentaries or all three. The best way is download what you think you would like and read the module then keep it or delete it.

The resources in e-sword are generally from the previous Christian generation and so they are not in printed circulation today. Modern theology type books are written for todays language and new research process and are built from these previous generation books, we learn from the previous generation and build from there.

The "Must have modules" are YOUR must have.

Everyone is different... but as your interests are geared for theology, my suggestion would be the ABP+ Bible and the KJC Dictionary. They are available for download straight from your e-Sword menu and allow you to search out and do your own studies using New Testament (Greek-based) theology, then apply it to the Old Testament Bible passages. And don't forget to "ASK" the good Lord for understanding. Only He can supply you with the Truth.

Blessings and Peace...
