I went online looking for information about the LIVT, Literal Translation, a freebie, but can't find out any more info. Wondering who created this translation and when? When you google "Literal Translation", the results are almost all Young's Literal, not this one. Trying to refine my studying to good, accurate literal translations, and just want to know more about this one. Thanks!

LITV: is made by Jay P. Green after his MKJV and the update of LITV calls KJ3. If is an official module.
LITNT Literal New Testament (NT) (TR 1550) is the one in ALL CAPS with only the New Testament.

Both LITV and MJKV are official e-Sword resources, and can be downloaded from the e-Sword Download Manager. The KJ3 is a third party resource available from here.
Jay P. Green was the author of all three translations.
Trust this bit of info is helpful to you.

Very helpful, thanks. I had downloaded it and just got to wondering who had made that translation. You answered that, so now I can go look the guy up!

I am getting set up on a new little laptop so I have the latest version of esword. I followed your link to the KJ3 download, which downloaded, but I've tried restarting esword 3 times, and the version isn't showing up on the program, though I can find it in the computer download folder. It is definitely a translation I am interested in using, though I did find a pdf of the version which I also downloaded. I'd like to run it parallel to Young's Literal. Any idea why it won't show up in the program??

You need to move the file from your downloads folder to your e-Sword resources folder. You can find where that is through the e-Sword main menu Options -> Resources
