I am using a Windows computer running e-Sword version 11.0.6

I find that when I copy a verse from the Vietnamese Bible then paste it into Word or or any other document or email it works fine showing accent marks correctly.

However, if I use the e-Sword Copy Verses... feature what is displayed as having been copied is unreadable... crazy accent marks, double characters, etc. - AND, when this is copied and subsequently pasted it is the same mess that was visible in the Copy Verses... window.

Likewise, when I select a verse in the Vietnamese Bible and use the e-Sword Paste into Journal Notes feature then what is pasted is the same mess as is seen in the Copy Verses... window.

Spanish works fine.

This is clearly a bug and needs to be addressed.  Praise the Lord that there is the work around of selecting text within the Bible and using Control-C to copy and Control-V to paste and it maintains the integrity of the text.

You need to check the font settings in the Journal Notes editor  to make sure the correct font for Vietnamese is selected.

TJ, I appreciate the reply but I think there is more to it than that.  1) I see no Vietnamese fonts listed, 2) The Bible displays correctly, and 3) When I select, copy (Ctrl-C) then paste (Ctrl-V) into the journal or any of the notes, it works just fine... pastes correctly.
