in case anyone who are interested in the recent changes of New Living Translation, you may read:

I am so frustrated that I need to do manual editing to get the updates, even I paid the premium e-Sword version for this bible.
I had also paid other softwares for this bible, but didn't find any update yet. ... only biblegateway did the updates so far as I know.

NLT made changes in 2013 and 2015

Suggest you contact Rick Meyers and ask him about it. That way you will a more definitive answer and know what is happening.
