Greetings!

Thanks again for this wonderful tool.  God bless you.

I just updated from 10.4.x to 11.0.5, started e-Sword and the Download Menu is greyed out.  I closed e-Sword, re-opened it, and it was still greyed out.  This is on a PC:

Windows 10 64Bit

Memory 4G

Intel64 Family 6 Model 23 Stepping 6, T8300 2 Duo CPU 2.4GHz

Any ideas why?  Thanks.

Answer found:

- I was connected to my work network and the secure client locks the PC from income and outgoing normal network activity except by the secure client network and the Download Menu was greyed out.  Once I had disconnected the secured client, closed e-Sword, and re-open e-Sword, all is well.  I left this in here in case someone else someday gets this problem. :-)  Thanks.

I also have the "Download" button greyed out my windows 10 computer.   I am not connected to any secure network or vpn (that I am aware of ie.. hacked).  So are there others having this same issue I am running E-Sword 11.1.0.

Old thread but I am having the same issue on a Surface Pro 8. Everything works fine except the option to download Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries, Devotions, Graphics, and Reference Books. (I can only click on Proxy Settings. I am online, I am not behind a security firewall (I have a laptop on the same network that works fine.) Any ideas?

e-Sword is not finding your internet connection, if can connect to the internet directly without being on a network try and see if that fixes things
