I suggest you report this to the developer https://www.e-sword.net/feedback.html

He might have had this reported and have a solution. He does not post on this forum.

Thank you. I'll try that.

On my PC this was due to a custom scaling factor I had set in Win10.  "Settings -> Display -> Scale and Layout".  When I set it back to 100% this issue was corrected.

I am running e-Sword on Win10 64.

I am experiencing an offset between the mouse cursor real position, and the one detected by the program. I mean: if I hover the mouse over a Strong's number, tooltip doesn't show up if i place it close to the upper-left part of the number. At the same time, if I place the cursor in the blank space below and to the right of the number, I still see the Strong's tooltip.

The offset is unnoticeable if the word is close to the upper-left corner of the Bible view, and gets bigger as you move down and right. To the point that, if the word is close to the lower-right corner, you have to place the mouse cursor one line below the Strong number, for the tooltip to pop up.

The same offset happens when trying to click on a word in order to see it in the Dictionary.

Hey

I have been trying to create a devotional module in e-Sword. I keep getting an error message that I have been unable to figure out the corrective measures for. It reads like this: "Value Error." Anyone have any idea what I am doing incorrectly and how I can make the changes necessary to get the devotional book to function?

A second question: How do I upload free modules to this site so that others can see them and use them.

http://www.biblesupp...rd-tab-renamer/

When I downloaded this 2024-02-29 and tried to work on a module, and selected a *.cmti module, it reported "Not a valid e-Sword database. (Doesn't work with e-Sword 8)."

Surely this ought to be the tab renamer, not the e-sword 8 to 9 conversion utility? Perhaps it wants a file type with the last character to be a "x"?

Hi Jim,
Below is a video which will help you to upload a resource on this site.

... icon

While watching video I was waiting for the [Attach] button to be pressed to see what would happen; in my case, when I press the [Attach] button no action is visible, no progress bar, no spinning wheel. I wait until the [Browse] turns into an icon; only then do I know the file has been successfully attached, after that can I press the [Submit] button.
