I'm having an issue with the fonts for NA26. I use Windows 10, and since the upgrade my NA26/27 shows incoherent text with a bunch of question marks. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Jason

I have fixed the module so it works in e-S 11.

Just contacting Josh to see about uploading it.

The issue was that e-S 11 does not like the font and escape codes of the rtf in caps

{\F1 \'C2\U8055?\'E2\'EB\'EF\'F2 \'E3\'E5\'ED\U8051?\'F3\'E5\'F9\'F2 \U7992?\'E7\'F3\'EF\U8166? \'D7\'F1\'E9\'F3\'F4\'EF\U8166? \'F5\U7985?\'EF\U8166? \'C4\'E1\'F5\U8054?\'E4 \'F5\U7985?\'EF\U8166? \U7944?\'E2\'F1\'E1\U8049?\'EC.}

change to below etc

{\f1 \'c2聕?\'e2\'eb\'ef\'f2 \'e3\'e5\'ed聑?\'f3\'e5\'f9\'f2 禒?\'e7\'f3\'ef腦? \'d7\'f1\'e9\'f3\'f4\'ef腦? \'f5禅?\'ef腦? \'c4\'e1\'f5联?\'e4 \'f5禅?\'ef腦? 祄?\'e2\'f1\'e1聉?\'ec.}

One more question about the NA26. Before the e-sword update, whatever module I had also contained parsing for each word. This new NA26-27 does not. Is there a version that contains parsing with the Greek characters? Thanks.

None of that information was in the module.

Do you still have the old module? Can you supply a download link? Maybe OneDrive?

Hey Josh,

Cheers for that bro. I was having that same experience as jlw515 was, and do I deleted that Bible. So, with that fix I downloaded it and installed it, and it works the way its suppose to.

So, thanks a big heap for that, as its really most appreciated. Add on top of that, you're just a wonderful huge blessing. Then add on top of that, bottle your blood and sell it, and put on heaps of weight and weigh yourself and collect the gold (your blood is worth bottling, and you're worth your weight in gold).

Blessings,

Running 11.0.6, Win7 desktop

In Parallel reading mode, F9 and F12 don't seem to work. The status balk at the bottom of the screen displays the right verse reference, but the scriptures are not displayed. Not even with only one Bible version in parallel mode.

F5 and F8 seem OK.

Hope this helps

Adding to the above:

(now running 11.06 on Win10 laptop)

In Parallel mode clicking within a verse does not change the verse reference (so commentaries do not update). This must be related to the above.

Keep up the awesome work!

I've never used the parallel mode in conjunction with commentaries in any version of e-Sword, and therefore as to whether or not the commentaries should sync when you are in the parallel view, I can't tell you. I know that there is nothing in the e-Sword User Guide about it.

Having said that, my theory is that I don't think the commentaries are programmed to sync when the one is in a Parallel View. The reason is this:

In the Parallel view, verses are numbered simply as 1, 2, 3 and etc. As where when just viewing one translation, verses are fully referenced, e.g., Eph 1:1, Eph 1:2, Eph 1:3, and etc. And therefore e-Sword will only read the referenced verses of Scripture rather than just a number alone.

As I said, this is only a theory, and such, this may not prove helpful to you. My advice is to contact Rick Meyers and check this out with him.

Yes the commentaries link to the bibles even in parallel mode

check

that the chain icon is still selected

that the commentary has info on that verse it will have a blue i

if these are not the case then esword 11 and higher is broken in this area or is designed to no longer perform this feature

I'm still running 10.4 and tested what you described and it works

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25 And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;
