Upgraded to 11.0.2 and the Download menu doesn't respond (no dropdown).
Is this common, or have I overlooked a setting somewhere?

I discovered that the menu is inoperable without a live 'net connection. Mr Firewall was blocking eSword, and for that reason the dropdown menu never appeared.
I get the part about not being able to access the 'net when it is unavailable, but was surprised that the menu is inhibited as well.

Great stuff! I'm really glad you found the problem and resolved it.
The one thing I hate to "see" is when someone has an issue with e-Sword and not being able to it, or that there is no help given. And the one thing that seems to highlight what you have done, is that you actually shared the solution, so that if anyone else has a similar experience, now can know how to resolve it.
