It been a while since I have seen the hard copy.  In general a synopsis of the four gospels is not his work.   All it is a harmony of the gospels in greek, using  the NA26 w. its variants. I know for a fact  He did nothing really original.  However, this means that you cannot create that version.  Nothing would stop one from using the WH (I think one was done according to WH) or SBL (I think one would have to get permission.  since they allow its use for free I do not think that's a problem.)  Therefore no on Aland's work but other works yes.

I think a better one is that a module including all parallel links, which can be used with whatever installed bible modules.  It does not limit to a particular translation.  Eliran

Any difference from the WH in Greek?  Otherwise Aland would be copyrighted.  The material inside MUST differ from the PD works for their to be copyright.  You cannot slap your name on a harmony/synposis which are PD works and say copyright.  from the screen shot it looks like he slapped his name on a harmony.

Sorry! I reread. Then this is not Aland's work if it is multiple translations.  You would have to compare harmony PD copies (Burton or WH) to see if his outline differs from them.  If not, then he is using a PD outline and can not be in copyright.  Another thing is who made the module? A user or some software company that charges a fee for the module? Did someone hack an encrypted module or password?

I forget where I get this module, must be many years ago, may be internet.  You are right, many other software needs money for it, as I had already paid money to several software companies to use similar kinds of things in their software.  so, I think it is kind of copyrighted material, that's why I never share this out ...

but I think there is also some free sources of similar kinds of things in internet ...

oops! my bad e-sword has a built in harmony already.  But another can be done in a different way.  I just started cleaning up WH synposis which is suppose to differ from harmony.
