I am running Linux Mint 17.3 Rosa.
 - wine installed.

 - e-Sword

 - e-Sword ToolTip Tool NT

I once had this running in Windows 7 but have abandoned the Microsoft platform. The e-Sword works well and displays my Hebrew and Greek correctly in the Linux/Wine system.

I brought my RTF files over and have attempted to open them. They appear to open but I get:

tx4ole20
Unknown format
(1-414)

 in a messagebox window.

After I click [OK] a second error messagebox window pops up with:

Unable to open file
Be sure the file is not already in use.

After I click [OK] it appears to be working, but I have not done anything yet. I want to be sure to get this set up correctly first and eliminate these errors.

Thank-you

keith

The files have a formatting error with in them at some point that is what causes the error message in other words the files are not formatted correctly for Tooltip to open. If you can open the RTF files in another word processor you might be able find and fix the error or errors that way
