I have one Question to „e-Sword ToolTips NT“
can I make Link in the Bible?
I like make a link footnote in the Bible.bblx to the comments.cmtx

Hi Miro,
In short, No!
OK, now for the reason.
e-Sword is a Database Reader type program which reads Database, Commentary, Bible, Dictionary and etc., files, which are independent from one another. With database files, unlike pure rtf files, e.g., doc, docx, odt, and etc type files, hyperlinking between them is extremely difficult if not impossible. About the closest you can get to the "linking" aspect of it, is when the Synchronize With Active Verse button is clicked on in the Commentary toolbar. But, as the what that button does, when its on, only links with the verse you click on in the Bible Window, and that is about the best you will get.
If you wish to learn more about how e-Sword as a Database reader works, click here to download the White Papers about it.
Blessings,

Hello APsit190
Thanks for the Link...
This is not good news ...
So data link between different data it does not go ... OK
And what's wrong with file link referencing, in the Bible itself?
How do I create in the Bible one link to the footnote...
that the link, linked to the footnote?
And how do I create in Bible a footnote itself?
Thanks for answer
best regards
Miro

You can create inline footnotes such as found in the International Stanard Version bblx module or you can create a separate commentary module for all of your footnotes.
The manual for ToolTip NT explains how to make all the various types of modules for E-sword and how to make them work together.

I suggest that you download the International Standard Version or ISV bblx file to see how footnotes are included inline in a bible or bblx file. Linking things with in a file such as bblx file is possible however it is not possible to link between a bblx file and cmtx or commentary file.
Here is the link to download the ISV bblx module found here on Biblesupport:

Install it in e-sword to view it you do not need to open the ISV module with tooltip

The word is blue text are the inline footnotes. in this case the footnotes are in the verse lines or inline with the verses. They do not need hyperlinking as they display within the bible text.
You don't need hyperlinks in bblx modules you can include the footnotes as was done in the ISV bblx file or footnotes can be displayed in separate commentary modules. I do not know of any bblx modules that contain links of any kind. Bible or bblx modules are used strictly for biblical text and nothing else
