Miro,
My asking you to type the verse reference by hand (using the under score character) was to show you that color and underline have nothing to do with a pop-up working.
Try this.
1) type in a verse reference the way you would normally do,
2) High-light the reference and then click the tool-tip icon to make the link.
3) check it to be sure the verse pops up.
4) now high-light that whole link and either type Ctrl-U or click the U icon to tun off underlining.
You should now see the hidden Under_Score character *AND* the link should still work. Change the color of that text and the link will still work.
Creating the link the way I had asked you to is just a short-cut way of getting a tool-tipped Bible reference in your document.
One advantage of using the Tool-Top Button is that you will always get your text formatted to "Look" like a link.
I know that you did not ask about Strong's numbers but try this.
Type H123 into your editor.
Hit enter.
Now hover your mouse over the word H123 and you should get a Strong's pop-up.
The text is not green like you might expect.
It is not in Super-Script Like you might expect, but it works *because* of how the text was formatted.
As to why the formatting is not following over when you paset the text I can not answer. I simply do not know.
Do you always use High-light - Right click - copy - right click - paste?
Do you use key board short cuts Ctrl-C (for copy) Ctrl-V (for paste)?
I wish I could tell you more.
I have to leave for work.
God Bless you.
Roy
