Hi,

This may be a stretch but I thought I would ask anyways.

I would like to use T4 to make a version of RMAC (Robinson's Morphological Analysis Codes) Dictionary (.dctx) that has tooltip windows that appear when I mouse over specific words that I define; similar to the behavior of Bible verses and Strong’s numbers. I have attached a mock up of what I am thinking. I already have the basic RMAC dictionary file as an RTF file that I can edit in T4.

Does anyone know if this is possible?

Thanks for your help.

Modern Literal Version Concordance, Dictionary & Lexicon 2016 Beta did this by adding extra Strong numbers in the list.

But you need to make the same dictionary active by options Strong's # ToolTip

                                         V-FPS-1S

Part of Speech: Verb

Tense: Future G5776

Voice: Passive G5786

Mood: Subjunctive G5792

Person: First [I]

Number: Singular

καυθησωμαι = I may be burned

I took a look at MLVDC+G and it appears that the module is using an "extended" version of the Strong's numbering system called TVM which stands for Tense, Voice, and Mood of verbs. A module created by BobbyV called  "KJV + TVM Bible & Dictionary" must have created this "extended" numbering system that adds definitions to numbers above G5624. The module was created in 2009 but has since been removed from downloads. However, it appears that the definitions are hard coded in e-Sword.

Does anyone know that background of this module? Are the Strong numbers G5625+ hard coded into e-Sword so the descriptions can't be changed?

No, for example:

Mat 15:9  But G1161 in vain G3155 they do worship G4576 [G5736]

Is only compatible with  KJV+TVM and NSBD(T) of Niobi Study Bible.

MLVDC+G using an "extended" version of Robinson's Morphological Analysis Codes(RMAC) and extra Strong numbers.

None of the Strong numbers are hard coded but linked to dictionary modules.

MLVDC+G is made by Butch Walker who is behind the Modern Literal Version (MLV).
