Hi Bookworm1711,
Will you be sharing the module in this site for us to use as well?

Thanks

It has just come to my attention that the module "The Ultimate Cross-Reference Treasury for e-Sword" has been released on e-StudySource.com.  This is a direct violation of the license for T4 which allows for distribution of modules for NON-COMMERCIAL use only.  I wrote special macros for this project also and it never would have become an e-Sword reference without T4 and the special macros, and now it is a commercial product.  In helping to make this module, I was never informed that this was for commercial use.  I am now considering my options.

I also helped the author of that module with a number of questions regarding Tooltip and he never once mentioned it was for a commercial product when we exchanged posts. Talk about a very un-Christian way of doing things

Hi Brent,

My suggestion is you get in contact with Rick Meyers and the bloke who owns eStudySource, and request or notify them that they take down this resource due to it being in direct violation of the EULA  T4. I also suggest you notify the author of this resource that it cannot be sold due to it being in violation of the EULA of T4. Also I think that you may have to serve an injunction (or something like that) so that he can no longer sell it.

Blessings,

I checked out the information at eStudySource regarding "The Ultimate Cross-Reference Treasury for e-Sword" which includes two screen shots from the module. The module is essentially a verse by verse and word by word indexing of the bible but the question is which bible translation or translations does it correspond to?  The module appears to correspond to multiple translations with text copied from several at least based on the two screen shots. So that leaves an interesting question was the copied text typed in manually or was it copied and pasted from other non commercial and or premium e-sword modules? If the text was copied and pasted from other E-sword modules then there could possibly be multiple copyright infringements involved with this module not just the Tooltip EULA license violation.
