Last night, MySword just stopped working. When I try to open it, the screen goes blank and a few second later I get the message on the screen "Unfortunately MySword for Android has stopped". I have tried to restore it from my backup, but that does not work, I have tried uninstalling it and reloading it, but that does not work either.

Any help would be appreciated, I use this everyday.

hi

try turning off your phone or tablet device, because it may be your device. Have you tried other programs?

If you have the deluxe version, you will have to deactivate the deluxe before removing mysword, it is found in Menu: About, then look for Deactivate the deluxe version.

you don't need to keep uninstalling mysword, just reboot the device.

thanks

I used to have the deluxe version on my phone, but for some reason I lost the features. I have tried shutting down the phone and rebooting, but it did not work, I get the same message. All other programs are working fine.

I suggest you contact the people at MySword and tell them what happened, and how you encountered the problem. I am sure they would be only too willing to help you.

Ensure to add details of you Tablet System:

  • Tablet make and model, and age
  • OS (Android) Version e.g., Lollipop or Android version number, e.g., 5. This information can be gained from your About Device in the Settings.

Blessings,

I had this same issue last night after trying to load a new module into Mysword. I wrote riversoft (the company that makes the software) explaining my predicament?Within a very sorry period of time they had me back up and running. This is on the last upgrade, 8.1.

I know what the problem was. I tried installing a module from Biblesoft that had an htm suffix. This file caused Mysword to crash. Anybody have an answer for why this happened?
