I have been reading the various posts on converting e-sword bible modules to mysword modules.

I would like to get the GNB in mysword, and tried copying the file into the mysword folder on my mobile from e-sword and renaming the file extension, but the program does not recognize it. The other method is too complicated for me.

Does anyone have a copy of the GNB they can email me please?

As the Good News Bible or Good News Translation is a copyrighted work, approval for a mysword module would be required

I did not realise it was copyrighted work, I assumed that as it was freely available on e-sword that it was not copyrighted.

From what you have indicated, all files from e-sword are then copyrighted and should not be converted to any other format without their permission.

The copyright has nothing to do with e-sword, the copyrights come from the original publishers of the bibles, books and other works that have been turned in e-sword modules. The publisher of The Good News Bible may have approved the e-sword module version but not modules for other bible software.
