This dictionary includes all the Greek words that occur in the standard Greek New Testament, and is organized in alphabetic Greek order. The first line of each entry includes the G/K and Strong’s number. Strong’s numbers followed by a lowercase letter (a, b, etc.) represent forms not included in the original Strong’s system that were modified to conform to modern editions of the Greek New Testament. This same system is employed in the various Key Number tagged texts in Accordance such as the ESV, NRSV, HCSB, and NKJV. Following this are the Greek word, its transliteration, and its frequency count is also included with a hyperlink to this form in the Greek New Testament in Accordance. On the second line are the English definition, and for all words occuring 10x or less, each Scripture reference is included. The third line includes a series of Word Study Hyperlinks which search the corresponding English version for the key number(s) under discussion. Note that there may be variations in frequency and usage in each version depending on the translation, and tagging philosophy.

May God change our hearts to what the truth is

2Ti_2:15 Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.

Rom_9:16 So then it is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, but of God that sheweth mercy.

2Ti 2:24-25  And the servant of the Lord must not strive; but be gentle unto all men, apt to teach, patient, In meekness instructing those that oppose themselves; if God peradventure will give them repentance to the acknowledging of the truth;

I went to Bill Mounce's website, and seen a book there called "Learn Biblical Greek Grammar," or something like that.

Anyhoo, when I saw that I cracked up laughing. This I found quite hilarious because when a language used in the Bible, which, by the way, is used everyday outside of the Bible, is a Biblical language. Sooo, does that mean that

the English language is also a Biblical language because its used in the Bible?

Now, not only that, but grammar as well?! Seriously!!!

So what's the difference between grammar used in the Bible from everyday grammar?! Well, none really. I mean grammar is grammar any way you poke a stick at it, and Greek is Greek (or any other language) any way you poke a stick at that as well.

So, as I pondered on this and thought deeply (like, about a minute) about it I found it amusing on how we love to religiousize or to make something a more special than what is in reality, not all that religious or special.

Just thought it would be good fun to share this to show a bit of a quirky side of my thingy.

Blessings,
