Very helpful notes. But I have a technical question: I selected "all" the Bibles I have downloaded, to have a full comparison of them. But I get only 14 texts compared, while the other translations, which I think very important to me in my study, not listed in the "compare" list.
Any suggestions will be appreciated. Thank you.
You could run 2 instances of e-Sword. When you do so, each instance is completely independent of each other, allowing you to have different resources displayed in each instance. It would be like running e-sword on 2 different computers, showing different resources, etc., which means you could feasibly have double the amount of comparisons. I have tried this, and the only caveat seems to be that the 2nd instance does not save the different view, so you would have to set it up each time. you may be able to retain both setups if you leave both running and let the system sleep as opposed to shutting down.
I have not, however, run more than one instance for anything other than the purposes of experimentation (and only this morning), so I can't say what other benefits, limitations or issues may appear. When running the 2nd instance, you will receive a dialog asking 'are you sure you want to run 2 e-swords?'.
