Hello,

Just started using my sword. I think I have done something in the "Preferences" and that is causing the verse selection in any book/any chapter is 1:1. I am unable to select any other verse and not text of the verse.(e.g. the chapter highlights the verse John 3:1 though I wanted to select John 3:16). Your help is appreciated.

Try this: in the Help menu, click on the Reset e-Sword Settings menu item, and see if that will fix the problem, and let us know if that did it for you.

I think that i missed the point how to select the verse i.e. by taping the verse number (with the link at top left cornor) of the verse. Now it is ok.

You know, I seriously need to get my eyes tested. As to whether or not that will help I'll let you be the judge.

 

I gave you the incorrect advice. You were talking about your problem in MySword, and I gave you a solution which may have only worked in e-Sword.

 

OK, time to get one of the following:

• A new set of eyes
• A new set of Specs
• A new head
• All of the above

So, with all of that, I'm sorry for the incorrect advice.
