Try this - try running e-Sword Hotkey as Administrator - then try downloading the index file.  That appears to work on my end.

That's why you are a developer and I am a nerd. It worked great as an Admin, D/l all my Bible versions. Thanks much and blessings for all you do in His service.

If I have not broken the code, I have now updated the code so that it requests elevated privileges in order to download and save the file.  v3.95.  BH

Romans 1:1 AKJV Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God,

John 1:1 AKJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:2 AKJV The same was in the beginning with God.

Romans 1:1 AKJV Paul, a servant of Jesus Christ, called to be an apostle, separated to the gospel of God,

With the duplicate switch off and arithmetic switch on, the list would be:

John 1:1 AKJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God.

John 1:1-2 AKJV In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 The same was in the beginning with God.

Brent

Is it possible for the end used to edit the list of bibles in the Bible.cf file? If so how and what program would we need to do it.

First, using the e-Sword Macros, you do not need the Bible.CF file and you can use any Bible that is installed in e-Sword, but it is now slow.  The Bible.CF can be updated, but you need access to the BBLI file for that Bible.  MacOS is the easiest way to get the file.  Do you have access to that?
