Can you sync e-sword data with mysword?

No you can't.

e-Sword and MySword are totally unrelated, and despite them using the same Database system, they are not compatible to each other.

Hi Gert.

That really depends on what whether you have the ummm, free (crippled) version of MySword, or the paid ummm, professional version of MySword, or the paid ummm, enterprise edition of MySword.

With the free (crippled) version of MySword, well as I stated, it is crippled, and I mean severely crippled, and it doesn't even remotely stack up well with e-Sword. I use the free version because all my major work in done in e-Sword, and don't need to have any of the features that one has to pay for.

With the Professional edition of MySword, in comparison to e-Sword, you get some of the features that e-Sword has, but it still is crippled to a certain extent albeit a lot less crippled than the free version. However, with the Enterprise edition of MySword you get all of the features running, and you are able to do everything in it that you can do in e-Sword.

Like I said, for any additional features to be unlocked in MySword you have to pay for them (MySword calls it, "a donation," which is really not true at all), and here is what the bottom line of prices (donations required) are:

  • MySword free Edition is free, but severely crippled
  • MySword Professional Edition: US$25.00 minimum payment required
  • MySword Enterprise Edition: US$50.00 minimum payment required.

Is it worth the cost? Well that depends on the individual I guess; however if one was to compare it against other Bible program, well dependent on what it is, the answer has to be No. There are far better Bible programs that are free and are not crippled that does a better job, but one has to really hunt them down. Logos has a Bible Program for Android, which is comparable to the Desktop version, if one wants to go down that road and pay an arm and a leg for the resources
