Hi Brian,

Hate to tell you this, there is no e-Sword for android irrespective how much we would love to have one. So my advice is, go with that exscentric (what a nickname to go by. Its like "eccentric"):

All,

This topic, call, desire, or whatever you want to call it for an Android edition for e-Sword just wont die, and this I find quite amazing. And with that, I'm also one of those who believe that there is a need for e-Sword to be developed for the Android OS platform. I believe in it so much that I've written a blog about it, titled, A Case for e-Sword for Android, which actually shows where the market is really at when it comes to Droid devices at the time of writing that blog.

Now here comes the next bit. For Rick Meyers to actually develop e-Sword Android is now far more simpler, and I would go to the extreme and say, that it would also be a lot more easier than it was 5 years ago. I would argue that to create an Android edition of e-Sword, can be done at the same time as developing it for iOS (iPhone and iPad), also including Windows Phone. Moreover, because Windows 10 is a universal operating system which works across all of MS Platforms, it would take nothing to develop e-Sword for Windows phone at the same time as developing it for Xbox, IoT, and Desktop.

Having said all of that, the point remains is that Rick still does not want to develop e-Sword for Android despite all of the factors that are there really going for it, more so than anything that is against it. So, with that, I honestly believe that its not in Rick's heart to develop e-Sword for Android, and that we should accept this, and respect his decision .

Blessings,

I've been watching this with much hope since I purchased a Droid Turbo. Sure would be nice to have e-Sword HD to use on it like I have on my iPad. I respect Rick's wishes though. The best MySword I have found for it requires a minimum $200 gift to get the premium or deluxe edition. That's way too steep for most users I think.
