I have not found any compatibility issues on the three computers I have upgraded to Windows 10. I upgraded two computers, and did a clean install on the other. e-sword, and the modules all function as usual.

Since Microsoft is giving away Windows 10, I wondered if anyone had a report of how e-Sword runs on it?

I down loaded Windows 10 and have had a few problems. Example, Scripture text displays but no chapter reference or verse number displays. By refreshing the screen all is okay. Also when using a  ctrl J, highlighted scripture, often the select referenced scripture will display in the middle of the current scriptures displayed.

First, try to install the latest version as the Administrator. Right click on the install file and click "run as administrator". I hope this helps.

Win-10 is so new that I've not had occasion to try Revo Uninstaller on it and don't know if it's compatible. That should be easy to find out though. When weird things happen with installed software, I've learned on earlier OSes that the normal uninstall often leaves behind registry fragments. I would suggest DLing and installing Revo Uninstaller and use *that* to uninstall e-Sword, then reinstall the latest version. HTH!

Edited: I just now DL'd and installed the program. Haven't had occasion to use it it yet, but the website said it is indeed compatible with Win-10.

um, esword isn't working on my windows 10. I think it is because I got a 'second' update, since the first time it didn't work so windows fixed it for me. I was wondering if you guys can help me find a way to get esword back ;(

You need to give us a lot more information (i.e. version of e-Sword, error messages, etc.). The first thing I would probably do is uninstall e-Sword and re-install the latest version of e-Sword as the Administrator. Right click the e-Sword install file and select "Run as Administrator".
