I'm looking for a commentary that explains what life was like in biblical times. Customs, daily life, persecutions etc. Anyone have a good recommendation?

There's also one in the "Download" section in e-Sword itself......but it's not Free.....costs $14.95.

I've posted three here you might be interested in. Search the download (upper right hand corner of this window - change from "this topic" to "downloads") for "Fred Wight." You'll find three of his titles: one on archaeology, one on OT types, and another on manners and customs. (Don't get the one posted by Module Robot; look for the ones I've uploaded.)

Link to Dr. Dave's "Fred Wight" search, to save you the trouble of searching.
Disabled the useless, legacy version of the module uploaded by Module Robot. All that should be left now are good versions.
