After a little trouble getting the app Store to recognize there was a version 2, it is now out.

It now has a number of the changes the mac community asked for. We knew those changes were coming. And now they are here.

We can now select what we want in the windows.

A Super Search function

Sermon audio is now a window.

I love how the Commentaries are lined out if they have nothing to say on a particular verse.

AirDrop is now running. Great for moving files between other Apple devices. Along with that is a file importer.

Did you notice? e-Sword is now #6 in the Top Paid list in the app store. I think that is an indication of the quality, and a great reward for the work in developing it.

AND, it's fast. Way faster than the Windows version.

Get a Mac and see.

Will Bible Support be offering Modules for the new Esword X for mac users?  I really like this new version for mac but I am leaving behind a lot of good modules for Study.  Thanks.  Dr. Wade T. Bridges

Hello,

I just found eSword for Mac. Very nice product. Can you tell me which modules are for Mac? I tried to search for just Mac version modules, but I don't think there is a separate tag for Mac and/or PC versions to find just the modules available for a given install. This would be very helpful, because I cannot find but like one that will install.

Thanks,

Tim

Good day!

You can chance to convert e-sword files from windows format to mac os yourself. You can download from http://www.e-sword.net/extras.html "Apple converter" (this program works only in windows) and use it. Format of modules the same : iPad and Mac OS. In this www page there are also many modules for Mac OS

Is there going to be any way that importing modules using E-Sword X will not use another Windows program?  I don't have any Windows machines in my household (or workplace for that matter)...  Any attempts to import I've tried don't seem to work, nor can I get the Extras application to run on Crossover because (heh) E-Sword is not installed.

Any help on this would be appreciated.  I've waited patiently for this superb application to come out on Mac and really pleased with it so far.

You will get an answer if you ask the developer at his site http://www.e-sword.net/mac/contact.htm
