Howdy,

I am a long time E-Sword user, but I have "jumped ship" to Mac.  (But I am keeping my PC just for E-Sword!)

I received a massage from within E-Sword on my PC that E-Sword X is coming...  Does anyone have any information on this?

Blessings,

Stan

Hi Stan,

As to when there is a release date of this, I don't think anyone knows except Rick Meyers. That said, when e-Sword X is released, don't be in too much of a hurry to get rid of the PC version because know one knows what the file format will be for e-Sword X will be, and if the resources will be compatible between PC and Mac.

Just as an update; E Sword X is out! It works great so far! I have begun using my Mac exclusively for sermon preparation.

Blessings,

Stan

I like using the Stronger Strongs, and the Treasure of Scripture Knowledge Expanded version on e-sword windows.

I am wondering if there is a way for me to create my own .dzip files, so that these will work on my e-sword x mac.  (it seems the mac version uses the standard strong and the standard TSK by default.)

I have used the 10.4 converter to convert commentary, and it works well for converting other items, but not for Stongs and TsK.  Any help is welcome. thanks.

They are probably password protected if the converter won't work. The only thing I can suggest is to ask the person who made them.

Philippians 4:6-7 (KJV)
6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God. 7 And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall keep your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus.

Same place as where e-Sword is installed is the best bet (wherever that is on Mac OSX. I don't use Mac PCs).
