Do you have a way to create files for mac on a mac?

e-Sword X (which is for Mac Computers) uses the same resource files as e-Sword HD (iPad) and e-Sword LT (iPhone).

That said, if you want to create your own resources for e-Sword X on a Mac, then you will need to download and install two programs in this order

  1. Download and install CrossOver for Mac

  2. Download ToolTip Tool NT and then install it using CrossOver.

Once you have done that you can run T4 (which is ToolTip Tool NT) on you Mac PC natively via CrossOver, and from there create your own resources.

Trust you find this information helpful to you.

Blessings,

You would need a program such as Crossover Mac from Codeweavers that allows the running of Windows software on Macs. With such a program installed you will be able to run e-Sword Tooltip NT and create modules.

How do we know which modules are licensed or not?

All of the modules that are available via e-Swords built in downloader are licensed or official e-Sword resources, this includes both the free and premium (paid) modules. The copyright holders have given permission for those modules to be listed in e-Sword's built in downloader

Modules available here on Bible Support are in the public domain and as such have no copyright issues involved.

Licensed modules will not open in the module creation tool e-Sword Tooltip NT

iPad tip by E-Sword Fanatic worked.  Very simple process after the conversion is completed on a PC.  Use iCloud files to transfer from PC to iPad.  Typical file is too large to email.  Thanks...

iTunes can also be used to transfer modules from PC to Apple/Mac devices:
