Hi there!

I have MacSword installed on my Mac for a while now, but after upgrading the system to Yosemite MacSword is no longer functioning, and it is always saying: MacSwordNeedsLeopard.

Is there a way to fix it?

Help is appreciated.

Thanks.

Hi Josh,

I'm not certain if you're trying to refer to e-Sword or not, but in the case that you're not, then you're on the wrong forum to resolve your problem. BibleSupport deals with e-Sword (and MySword for Android), and my guess is that Macsword users on this forum would be about as scarce as hen's teeth.

Well after reading all your issues with MacSword, its time for you guys to ditch it and install e-Sword for Mac.

Hi,

First MacSword changed it's name a while back. It's new name is Eloquent.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Eloquent

According to this bug, it's recommended to upgrade to the latest Eloquent.

https://bugs.launchp...nt/ bug/1406979

Lastly, eSword isn't MacSword or the Sword Project. Totally different projects.

Hi Mike,

Albeit that I'm not a Mac user, I think what you shared will be a breath of fresh air for MacSword users.
