I have read a few posts, but I cant get the three things i have downloaded to open.  I am not a computer guru, but I didn't just fall off the turnip truck either, so is there someone that can help me?

Nevermind.  I just read the answer to someone else's identical question and found the answer...  Sorry.

No worries. You did really well.

Blessings,

I downloaded few things but I cant open them, please help

Have the "few things" also a name and what is the name of your OS (Windows version,...)?

If you want help then is it easier for us that you give more info.

Are they exe files or zip files?

By zip files must you open the file by double clicking with the mouse and move it to:

C:\Program Files (x86)\e-Sword

or

C:\Program Files\e-Sword

(for Bibles, dictionaries, commentaries, topx, revx and Mapx )

Mapx can you open with the "mountain sun" icon by the E

topx, revx with the "books" icon near the the "mountain sun" icon

Use the built-in app "My Files"

In the settings -> display options check the two options of showing extensions and hidden files.

Tap on "Device storage" in the left column and then "Downloads". You should see your downloaded files. Select ones of the same type i.e bbl.mybible (bbl means it is a Bible).

On the left column locate the "mysword" folder and press the +. Now drag n drop to the bibles folder. Repeat for other types to the correct folder.
